I'm not as good with Elk as Deer, I am considering this outfitter. What would these Elk go? The last two don't look all that big except if you look at the hunters, they aren't "outfitter" pics. First one is, but last two the hunter is right up on head between antlers. Thanks. 1. 2. 3.

Last one has exceptional fronts. first one pushing 330-340. Second is lowest at 270-280 Third 290-300 (has extra front to make up for weak swords)
I could be off by 10 on the first due to no width pic

I have no clue, but I would be willing to bring any of them home.

Rob-
Your best elk and success will always be on big ranches that are large enough they hold/slow migrations. In some states Like NM and AZ there's not much of a migration so elk are more managed.
If it's not 45k acres and more depending on country it's going to be no different then Durango where your weather dependent on elk being their.
NM, Utah and AZ. Acoma publo would be my first pick. If you book now you will probably have 2-3 years to before you get to go.

Also the North West Corner of Colorado, units 1,2,3,4 iirc, mostly private land. Some real nice bulls come out of there every year and it never sees the pressure of most of the other units of the state.
I like all 3 of the bulls in the photos, you don't know the story behind them or why that was the bull each fellas chose, but I would be proud of any one of them. I have a well to do friend that has Hunted AZ and NM, I know it is a big range in price, but he probably pay's in the range of 10k+ for prime hunting.

this is a Texas free range hunt, large ranch. from what I've found so far with the Texas Elk hunts the prices are going up, but it is a good opportunity at a 250-320 without worrying about a season or tags.

Then I would go and have a great time!! That is if you like what you see and it is what you want to pay. Those bulls aren't "slouches".

I wouldnt think twice about antler size, I'd just book and go have fun.. Peice of Texas history and something 99% of Texas hunters will not have access to do. He'll pm me I might book with you.
