great responses from everyone. I go to the gym just to creep on the younger women in the community. What can I say Lifetime Fitness Flower Mound is the most target rich environment I've ever seen. Close2nd, Lifetime Colleyville. Yeah, our local Lifetime Fitness is exactly the same, then they get mad when they catch you staring! You're not in a museum and they're not statues. You gotta' learn the art of the moving gaze........

Re: Iran vs Israel

Support for Israel was at its lowest point in probably 50 years. Then Israel baited Iran, and Iran took the bait... resetting global support for Israel.
Iran wasn't screwing around... they launched 1/3 of their drone/missile arsenal hoping to catch/destroy their F35s on the ground. As it was, and because Iran sucks, Israeli F35s were in the air, shooting down Iranian hardware. There were other losers over the weekend besides Iran.
Israeli response is "limited" so as to not upset the reset. Good info, thanks.

Re: Need some help, which skid steer

I’d personally go mini x for getting the trees out, then a skid steer with root rake/grapple for brush piles. Winner winner chicken dinner, rent a 8-9 ton excavator with thumb and you’ll be done way faster. I wouldn’t wish removing 300 cedars on a skid steer on my worst enemy. Ol Thunper does this every day. He's the guy to pay attention to.

Kansas Archery Hunts
JeremyKS
04/19/24 01:18 PM
The deadline for Kansas Draw is only 1 week away April 26th! We still have room for a couple more archery whitetail hunters. We hunt on roughly 40000 acres and have 4 miles of the Arkansas River. We are very conservative on hunter numbers taking only 4 hunters per year This is a very personalized hunt with first class lodging and meals. If you want to hunt whitetail with us but aren't a proficient compound bow hunter it’s legal for everyone to use a crossbow in Kansas!! If you can’t make it this year but would like to hunt with us in the future be sure to follow this link and purchase a preference point to help ensure you draw a tag when the time comes. https://license.gooutdoorskansas.com/Licensing/CustomerLookup.aspx6 day hunt fully guided with meals and lodging $5500 +$2000 kill fee on any buck. Contact me for more details. Jeremy Gugelmeyer www.sagebrushhunts.com806-333-4358 Find us on Facebook and Instagram @ Sagebrush Hunts

Re: New Ruger Super Wrangler-Who has one?

Messed up on the 6.5 vs 5.5". Yes, the Super only comes in 5.5".
I found a super for $260 at Bud's, the most reliable new gun price source in my opinion. I see Impact Guns has "limited stock" at $239 but I am unsure if they are trustworthy. And I was referring to sale prices (in person) on the regular model at less than $200.
GunBroker is chock full of Single Sixes SOLD for way less than $400...even three screw models in decent shape. They'll not be going down in the future and with these new choices, now is the time to get one of those too if you have a hankerin'.

Considering only my Large Loss claim and no others I will win, even in the long run, against the insurance company for home owners.

Re: Are small acerage warm season plots worth it?

I took a gamble this year and planted Sainfoin last week it's a legume like alfalfa. Does well in sandy soil & drout conditions and doesn't need replanted each year, I did a one acre area. Deer, turkey and honey bees like it. Sainfoin doesn't like being crowded so I sprayed the area, waited 2 weeks for a good kill then disk, planted, fertilized and drug in to cover. Just waiting on 2 1/2 days of rain this week. sainfoin is awesome stuff, love it north of the Red but it struggles as a zone 3 which is most of Texas. I even baled it. It is a better dry land legume than alfalfa. It has started to sprout but could use a shot of rain, crossing my fingers. We have sandy soil and any place with 13" of rain it should do well. Where I'm at Bokchito, OK we get 35-40" of rain per year so i should be good.

Stay away from the airport............ I see what you did there. Not many may get that reference. X1000 on the bug spray. Ticks and chiggers will tear you up.
